Valentine's + blogiversary = whole lotta love!

Tomorrow is Valentine's Day; a day filled with romance, loving gestures and a day to remind those around you how much they mean to you. Tomorrow is also my two year blogging anniversary!!! I can't believe I have been doing this for two years now; a lot has changed since I first started, definitely for the better - in both my personal life and my blogging life - so I thought I would take the opportunity today, in the spirit of Valentine's Day, to tell those around me how much I appreciate and love them. So to YOU - thankyou!!! To the readers of this little blog, the other designers and bloggers, photographers, creatives, anyone and everyone who inspires me and allows me to build my blog to be bigger and better each and every week. 
I first got a taste for blogging at my first 'real' job at Real Weddings Magazine where I was Production Assistant (boy did I love that job!) I got to combine four of my passions; magazines, design and page layout, weddings, and lo and behold - blogging! I also got to step into the world of photoshoots (organised chaos), deadlines (mounting stress), lots of emails (the nitty gritty) and working with some truly amazing women (my friends). If you have read my About Me section you will also know that I have always collected images that I have fallen in love with, so a blog of my own was almost inevitable. 
I chose the name Act on Inspiration as a reminder to actually do something with the inspiration you find, rather than just acknowledging it. If you are inspired by something, do something about it; use it for good, use it for better, use it to make a difference - be it in your own life or someone else's. Big or small, simply, act on inspiration.
I know today's post is a little text heavy, but I really wanted to express my love and appreciation for the opportunity to share "the things I find inspiring". A huge thankyou to Real Weddings Magazine for hiring me and introducing me to this world! And to everyone, Happy Valentine's Day - much love and many thanks for all your support and inspiration over the past two years!!! xxoo
