The most wonderful time of the year...

Christmas is less than a week away and I am happy to say, I'm almost done! I've had our tree up and house decorated since December 1st, had my Christmas cards designed, printed and sent out last week, (and our family cards designed and printed the week before), baked my traditional Christmas gingerbread to give family and friends as gifts on Monday, and finished my Christmas shopping yesterday. Now all I have to do is wrap all my gifts (which I throughly enjoy, so that's no stress) and I'll be able to fully embrace the remaining festivities this wonderful season brings. Oh… and help mum host the Family Lunch on Christmas Day. This year our theme is Apples & Oranges (we change colour theme every year) and as I am in charge of decorations I even put together a mood board so my family could understand my vision. (They probably just think I have OCD, but I am a perfectionist!)
Hope you are nearly there - or if not, hope you have a plan of attack. As I said to a friend just yesterday; never go in blind. This was in reference to Christmas shopping without an idea/list of what to get people, but I think it is good advice in any situation at Christmas. This is not the time of year for time wasting (there is plenty of time for that once you hit the beach…) So enjoy the rest of the festive season, after all, it is the most wonderful time of the year.
